Christmas Show 2017!

Congratulations to all those shinning stars that took part in the Christmas show, "Over The Rainbow". I am so proud of you all, you sparkled and shone on the stage like true super stars, very well done. Looking forward to seeing how much fun we can have in 2018 and what else we can achieve with our dance skills. Wishing everyone Happy new year for 2018!

Beauty And The Beast

Hooray to all those who attended this year's summer workshops, it was a great success. Fantastic Belle costumes for our Beauty and The Beast Theme dancing. We enjoyed changing from prince charming to the beast, read books like Belle, had sword fights with Gaston and finally waltzed round the room to "Tale as old as Time". Always a happy ending. What fun....

Happy New Year!

Welcome back to dancing in 2017. A big well done to all those students who took part in last year's performance of "Christmas Quacker". I was very proud of you all, hope you had fun being apart of it all. Thought you looked fabulous as little ducks in the rain, Nutcrackers and Sugar Plum Fairies. Halloween Week 2016

Spooktacular Halloween Week at First Steps Dance. Amazing costumes, well done mums and dads for organising such wonderful outfits. Brilliant ghostly dancing, great skeleton wiggles and some frightful spell making in lesson. Well done to all our little dancers who attended. Such a fun week, what a great HALLOWEEN !

Alice in Wonderland Workshop

Alice in Wonderland Workshop arrived at Leigh Community Centre this August. What a great turn out and fabulous costumes, well done to you all. We enjoyed twirling down the rabbit hole, having tea with the mad hatter and helping the Queen paint her roses red. Marvellous dancing and lots and lots of fun.

Great 2015!

Wow, what a successful year in 2015. So proud of all our students at First steps Dance. We have had a busy year and achieved so much. Our Leigh on sea class is now fully established and doing brilliantly. Some of our students this year took part in a wonderful dance display at Temple Sutton Summer Fair, it was a hot day but we still manage to pull off our Frozen Olaf Dance without melting. Lovely for some of the families to come watch our summer presentations on the stage at St Edmunds commun...

Hats Off To Our First Steps Dancers!

An amazing start to 2015! Our new Thursday 11am class is now full which is brilliant to see lots of new little ones come and join in the fun. Round of applause to all our pupils who took part in First Steps Dance "The Musicals" show in December, brilliant end to a busy year as you all looked smashing on the stage, so very well done little dancers, keep working hard and most importantly having fun!
